Schedule Details/Additional Information:

Fully on-site role Monday-Friday with a start time falling between 7-8:30am.

Pay Range

$23.65 - $35.50

To perform diversified administrative and secretarial duties using independent judgment and action.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Performance of diversified administrative and secretarial work in support of the department
  • Compile, analyze and summarize data to prepare reports.
  • Coordinate work or provide direction and/or guidance to others.
  • Respond to correspondence received by the area to include routing inquiries, routing requests to the appropriate personnel, and acknowledging receipt of messages.
  • Monitor budget for department.
  • Coordinate with internal and external sources to accomplish activities such as obtaining bids for outside printing, office equipment and/or supplies, selecting menus and arranging room set-up, etc.
  • Coordinate meetings and special events with very little direction.
  • Initiate follow-up for calls, correspondence, etc. received by department
  • Preparation and dissemination of correspondence
  • Type letters, memoranda, reports and other types of correspondence from rough drafts or provided copy.
  • Compose correspondence for supervisor/staff.
  • Collect data and/or compile information to prepare reports for the department.
  • Maintenance of department files.
  • Maintain records and files within the department/unit.
  • Create and set up filing systems for department/unit.


Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
n/a

Education Required:
High school or equivalent and 5 years administrative secretarial experience OR
Associates degree and 3-4 years administrative secretarial experience

Experience Required:

  • High school or equivalent and 5 years administrative secretarial experience OR
  • Associates degree and 3-4 years administrative secretarial experience
  • ​Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
  • Typing 60+ words per minute preferred. Extensive knowledge of several software applications is preferred. Ability to create spread-sheets manipulate data preferred. Ability to work independently
