Required Qualifications

Education/Experience:

• Master’s degree in higher education or a related field
• Minimum of two years of full-time professional experience, or the equivalent, participating in a student conduct process.

Skills:

• Effective verbal, written, and digital communication skills, including the ability to facilitate open discussions and ability write clear and concise reports.
• Ability to establish, build and maintain effective working relationships based on respect, empathy and honesty with diverse groups and individuals
• Computer competence using software and enterprise systems appropriate for the complexities of the role and its functions
• Possess a deep understanding of a diverse student body and a demonstrated commitment to diversity and cross-cultural issues.
• Recognized as an effective advocate who exhibits high ethical standards of conduct and confidentiality in dealing with various internal and external constituencies.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to set own priorities to coordinate multiple assignments with fluctuating and time-sensitive deadlines.
• Competent in American Sign Language or willing to develop such competence.
