SUMMARY
The Field Service Engineering is responsible for performing troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of Pfeiffer CMS equipment installed at the customer site.

Duties
- Shift Times
- Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (Must be willing to work additional hours if needed)
- Uses a wide range of hand and power tools, measuring devices, and meters, to install, test, troubleshoot, and repair CMS equipment.
- Responsible for performing basic on-site PMs and responding to alarms, as needed.
- Qualifying and verifying the equipment is back in the same or better condition as before maintenance.
- Exercise and utilize 5S principles.
- Follow standard operating procedures and accurately fill out required check sheets.
- Prepare reports on customer support issues and escalate to local FAE or Product Engineering/Applications team.
- Provide daily passdown information and updates to customers as necessary.
- Successfully complete proactive daily walkthrough inspections
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload with input from FAE and customer.
- Work safely and always be willing to stop and ask, as needed.
- Ability to work and be successful in stressful working conditions.
- Develop and discuss with customer a POA (Plan of Action) for each repair or PM.
- Responsible for installation, upgrade, troubleshooting and repair of all a models of complex contamination management systems at the customer site.
Additional tasks related to Pfeiffer Vacuum’s install base may be requested by customer (if appropriate and safe for the FSE to complete)
