About The Role

Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Financial Analyst is part of the Finance team and plays an integral role in supporting G2’s financial and operational performance.  This position will work directly with the Director of Finance, Senior Financial Analyst, and Accounting team through various planning and ad hoc exercises, such as financial modeling, forecasts, and reporting.   

In This Role, You Will: 

• Ownership of month end reporting package
• Provide variance analysis on a monthly basis for revenue and expenses
• Ownership of model to project out ARR, LTV CAC and efficiency metrics 
• Calculate various SAAS metrics including ARR, Retention, cohort growth, churn, and provide analysis
• Provide monthly or quarterly reports to investors as requested
• Assist in annual and quarterly budget process
• Work with other departments to help drive financial and operational business decisions 
• Assist in ensuring financial statements accuracy 
• Develop financial reports and dashboards to assist with business decisions

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis or related experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite - Excel, Powerpoint, Word (Google Sheets, Presentation, Docs)
• Basic understanding of financial modeling
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Experience working with complex data sets
• Ability to work with speed and quality
• An eye for improving processes and suggesting solutions
• Professional with the ability to clearly communicate and collaborate with others 
• Self-starter (ability to work independently/solve problems)

What Can Help Your Application Stand Out:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance. CPA or MBA a plus, but not required
• Extensive experience using MS Excel
• Proficiency with with financial planning and accounting tools such as: Adaptive, Intacct, Salesforce
