Engineered Cooling Services is seeking an experienced Senior HVAC / Mechanical Project Manager to oversee and manage our projects from turnover to operations through completion. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of HVAC systems, mechanical engineering principles, and project management. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to effectively communicate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. 

Project Planning and Execution:

• Lead project planning efforts, including communicating project scope to the team, goals, and deliverables.
• Develop comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Oversee project execution, monitoring progress, resolving issues, and managing changes as needed.

Client Management:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear and timely communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Understand client needs and expectations, and work to exceed them through proactive problem-solving and innovation.
• Collaborate with clients to address any concerns or issues and ensure satisfaction with project outcomes.

Team Leadership:

• Provide leadership and direction to project teams, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment, promoting teamwork and accountability.
• Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to facilitate their professional growth.

Risk Management:

• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
• Monitor project performance metrics and take proactive measures to address any deviations from established targets.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle.

Quality Assurance:

• Implement quality control processes to ensure that workmanship and materials meet established standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify compliance with project specifications and industry best practices.
• Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Requirements

• Proven experience (minimum 10 years) managing HVAC/mechanical projects of varying size and complexity.
• Ability to lead and mentor less experienced project managers to help them advance their knowledge and careers. 
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, mechanical engineering principles, and construction practices.
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management software tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of successfully leading project teams to achieve project objectives.
