JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The Office of Research Business Development, Marketing & Communications within OSVPR (Office of the Senior Vice President for Research) is seeking a part-time business development and HubSpot support staff member to work approximately 10-20 hours per week helping to support key research for strategies within several of the OSVPR units.
Assignments will be within key areas:
- Management and optimization of our HubSpot account. This includes configuring the system, creating workflows, managing data, and providing training as needed. Duties will also include marketing automation, lead management and reporting within HubSpot.
- Generation of analytics across the business development cycle for revenue generation for research (this includes data from various stages of the marketing and business development cycles, gathered from several sources: HubSpot, Salesforce, social media and websites).
- Reporting of analytics within HubSpot
- Working with internal stakeholder groups to assist with data gathering and entry (such as Office of Technology Transfer, units that support Industry partnerships for research, etc).
- Possibly helping with entry of data into HubSpot and nurturing of research leads once they arrive in HubSpot.
- Marketing duties: participate and be instrumental in developing and implementing strategies to promote PSU’s services including identifying target audiences, creating marketing campaigns and analyzing the results. This role will play a key role in brand awareness and sales growth.
This position requires experience with the business development / marketing / sales funnels, and must have a working understanding of HubSpot (Salesforce is a plus, including Marketing cloud) and analytics platforms such as PowerBI. Must have US Citizenship. A high level of HubSpot expertise is desired.
This is a remote (or on-site) position with opportunities for local hires to join in-person meetings and team gatherings. Candidates should plan to be available for meetings during business hours (8-5, M-F), but a bulk of the work can be completed on a flexible schedule. The candidate should be self-directed with an ability to organize and prioritize their work to meet established deadlines. Expected hours per week are 10-20.
