Granicus' is looking for a Lead Overnight Video Producer to join our Swagit Productions Team in Dallas, TX. This is a key position that is responsible for coordinating with Swagit Video Indexers to issue assignments, address staff inquiries, coordinate with Shift Closers and Openers, and train and mentor fellow co-workers. This is a leadership position that is responsible for guiding new employees to become stronger performers and cultivating leadership, initiative and engagement.

What your Impact will look like in this role

• Train, lead and mentor fellow co-workers, production staff and indexers.
• Gather and analyze data, and report on production and indexing metrics.
• Conduct various data entry tasks, as well as completing various assigned duties to maintain efficient shift operations.
• Perform indexing and video encoding/transcoding tasks to assist with the completion of the daily assignments.
• Insure all indexing assignments are completed before the next morning.

You'll love this job if you have / are

• 3 or more years of video production experience.
• Competent in video editing and indexing, and post broadcast production.
• A team-focused leader that excels at communication, leadership and professional development.
• Solutions-minded and collaborative in nature with a desire to make a difference
• Availability to work shifts between the hours of 11:00 pm to 11:00 am CST, Monday Evening through Friday Morning.
• Able to work holidays if needed, and perform on-call shifts during the weekends when needed.

Full Time pay based on qualifications. We reserve the right to promote any part-time employee to a full-time with benefits status at any time. Such promotion will be based on work history, work reviews, internal job openings and company employee needs.
