Vehicle Remarketing Sales Associate

The Vehicle Remarketing Auction Sales Representative is responsible for the sale of vehicles at auctions.  This person will monitor vehicle inventory and manage relationships with leadership at assigned auctions to maximize the value of all assets sold. This independent role requires either remote representation or physical travel to auction sites to inspect vehicle inventory prior to sale, ensure accuracy of condition reports and confirm that appropriate reconditioning has been completed.   Responsibilities include inventory and expense management in conjunction with auction oversight for adherence to Chase’s remarketing guidelines and policies and reporting of results to Remarketing Management.  Auction representatives are expected to manage relationships with auction management and manufacturer partners and engage with buying dealers.  The position is based at an assigned primary auction with minimal travel (5-10%) to other auctions as necessary. Travel might be outside of the assigned region at times and will be determined by business need.

Responsibilities

• Make reconditioning decisions within authorized limits
• Generate auction and OVE/DealerBlock (internet sale channels) floor prices and verify that ordered reconditioning and details have been completed satisfactorily
• Represent Chase at auction sales both in-person and remotely
• Make sales decisions within authorized limits, resolve arbitrations and engage with dealers
• Provide reports to management concerning sales results
• Make decisions to relocate vehicles to Total Resource Auction (sale channel for vehicles with announced sale conditions that would negatively impact sale results) and salvage sales based on vehicle condition
• Interact with auction management concerning any operational shortcomings

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

• Minimum 5 years auction or car dealership experience in sales or service
• Basic Excel skills

This position is at the largest auction (LOCATED IN MANHEIM, PA) in the country and we need a full time representative there 3 days per week.  You will also work from home 2 days per week.
