In October 2021, PwC announced the sale of its global mobility tax and immigration services business to Clayton, Dubilier & Rice (CD&R) funds. Upon deal close, which is expected in the second quarter of 2022, the business will become an independent company called Vialto Partners.

CD&R is investing in the global mobility tax and immigration business, which will now be part of the CD&R portfolio. Vialto Partners, the new Global Mobility Tax, and Immigration Services Business, is made up of approximately 6,000 people, including around 160 partners, across 41 territories. The practice services more than 3,000 multinational and distributed workforce clients worldwide.

Job Description

Our Data Engineering organization is looking for a Lead who can lead the Vialto Partners Enterprise Data Platform to a safe, robust, stable, secure and a pinnacle state of 360-degree profiled data for enterprise use 

The Data Engineering team is responsible for leading Vialto Partners to provide enterprise data as a warehouse, data as APIs, Data for analytics purposes with utmost governance, security and at scale. You and your team will have a direct impact on design and feature enhancements to keep our systems enhancing and running smoothly. You also ensure that data platform operations are safe and efficient by monitoring performance, coordinating planned maintenance, adjusting all components, and responding to all data integrations. 

As a leader of this team, you have a direct impact on data design, standards, security, and feature enhancements for our user base in 41 countries, with 6,000 employees supporting 3000+ clients.

Responsibilities:

• The core responsibility is to Model, Design data structures optimize enterprise data platform

• Demonstrating experience with Modeling, Ingestion, Standardization, Reference and Master Data Management.

• Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail

• Serve as the technical point of contact for the internal and external consumers of data.

• Develop professional documentation, operating guides, high level, and low-level design documents

• Conducts testing and analysis of all components of data platform maintains uptime consistent with Business goals and metrics

• Validating the solutions created adhere to the various consumer products requirements for data needs

• Training and mentor data engineers, helping them grow their technical abilities and business acumen

• Participating in recruiting and interview activities for new hires into the practice

Qualifications

Qualifications and Background / Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Experience related to Data Engineering, APIs.

• Bachelor’s degree of Computer science or equivalent 

• 6-8 years leading Enterprise scale projects and products working in Technology &Digital

• 3+ years of programming experience and Data Modeling is a must.

• Any Public Cloud platform experience is an added advantage

• A minimum of 6  years of experience leading Data Platform design, Data Modeling, Design, Strategy, Architecture

• DevOps practices, CI/CD Pipelines, and related tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Ansible, Terraform, Docker)

• Superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Leading with a positive attitude and willing to work outside normal hours to troubleshoot high priority issues when needed.
