Learn more about life and purpose of our company directly from the Romanian colleagues’ video: </span></span><a href="https://www.lseg.com/en/careers/where-we-work/bucharest-romania" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><span><span>Bucharest, Romania | Where We Work | LSEG</span></span></a><span><span> </span></span></p><p><span><span><span> </span></span></span></p><p></p><p><b>What You’ll Be Doing:</b></p><p><br/>Work as a contributing member in a multi-disciplined agile scrum team as a software engineer<br/>Develop a good understanding software module with respect to design, code structures, quality, functional and non-functional perspective with guidance<br/>Learn and follow best practices to ensure quality of software being developed with adequate level of unit, component, and end-to-end testing where applicable.<br/>Work collaboratively with team members spread across different geographical locations.<br/>Develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve the high-quality standard services<br/>Implementation of quality controls (unit, functional and regression testing)<br/>Identifies and executes improvements to code<br/>Builds technical documentation for reference and reporting<br/>Maintenance and support of the existing product, provide 3rd line support if require.<br/>Demonstrates extensive knowledge of technologies and/or subjective matter expert knowledge of a technology, advising others on design, development and implementation.<br/>Advances tools and applications by producing expert code reviewing others' code when required.<br/>Supervises a team and co-ordinates work of other team members, promoting an inclusive and open culture.<br/>Develops knowledge and expertise in software development and develops knowledge of other domains to understand linkages and dependencies.<br/>Builds understanding of strategy and culture, and how they impact own work.<br/>Oversees the design work and planning for user stories ensuring the achieve the desired objectives.<br/>Contributes to the creation of solutions for Epics and the associated implementation tasks.<br/>Adapts existing patterns to develop robust solutions.<br/> </p><p></p><p><b><span>What You’ll Bring:</span></b></p><p><br/>Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Electronics / Electrical Engineering, or equivalent<br/>Strong knowledge of Java with Multi-Threading, socket programming, concurrent and reactive programming.<br/>Knowledge of Event Driven Microservices patterns and implementation in java.<br/>MS, Messaging &amp; Caching technologies (Preferred any one of Kafka/ActiveMQ/IBM MQ, Redis/Memcached)<br/>Very good knowledge on software engineering principles, applications, and design patterns<br/>Experience in building re-usable code, defining and implementing software engineering best practices &amp; code frameworks.<br/>Experience in software development methodologies and Agile based delivery<br/>Fair knowledge in Mock frameworks such as Mokito, JMokit ,and  Junit,TestNG or a similar unit test framework.<br/>Experience of Git &amp; CI tools.</p><p><br/>Personal skills &amp; capabilities<br/>Excellent communication skills<br/>Strong team player, problem solver, a self-sufficient individual with an ability to be constructively address issues</p><p></p><p></p><p><b>Benefits</b>:</p><p></p><p>We are looking for intellectually curious people, passionate about the bigger picture of how technology industry is evolving, ready to ask difficult questions and deal with complicated scenarios!
