Job Description

32 hrs. per week

• Audiologists identify, evaluate, rehabilitate/habilitate individuals with hearing/balance disorders
• Audiologists create individualized rehabilitative treatment plans for individuals with hearing disorders
• Audiologists provide education regarding hearing/balance disorders and hearing conservation
• Audiologists participate in community outreach events, including hearing screenings as part of hearing conservation
• Audiologists provide tinnitus management options
• Audiologists provide cochlear implant services
• Audiologists provide education/preceptorship:  teaching and mentoring of audiology extern and graduate students, medical students, and residents
• Audiologists participate in research initiatives
• Audiologists should exhibit efficient communication and collaboration among clinical and non-clinical staff across locations
• ·Audiologists should completion all patient encounters in a timely manner via the institution’s medical record system.
• Timely and efficient completion of all appointment types is expected
• Timely and efficient documentation of outgoing and incoming tasks via the institution’s medical record system is expected
• Efficient utilization and time management across locations is expected
• Positive patient satisfaction/experience is fundamental
• Audiologists are expected to meet knowledge and skill development expectations of supervisors
• Audiologists are expected to set and pursue goals outlined in yearly performance evaluations

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Clinical Doctorate in Audiology (AuD) PA and/or NJ License to practice audiology.
• Clinical Doctorate in Audiology (AuD) from an accredited institution.
• Maintains required CEUs in accordance with certification and licensure requirements
