Hourly Pay: $30.00
The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
Shift: Mon-Fri (7am-4pm)

ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is looking for an Event & Facilities Technician to complete assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs.

Essential Functions

• Notifies managers concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems. 
• Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc. 
• Complies with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities. 

Responsibilities

• As a facilities Technician, your main responsibilities will be to perform various service requests and repair duties at the client’s site.
• Ensure all client request are resolved in a professional manner and partner with Facilities representative as need to resolve issues.
• Good physical stamina and technical knowledge are important part of the job as you will be lifting, pushing and carrying loads around 10-25 lbs.
• Trained on proper use of standard tools such as drills, wrenches and other similar tools to make repairs.
• Perform basic tasks including painting and patching, furniture repairs, handy-man type repairs.
• Perform furniture moves and ensure desks and chairs are accounted for.
• Cable management including installation, organization, maintain basic functionality.
• Regularly conduct a building inspection to identify issues needed to be repairs.
• Flexible hours and weekend availability as some projects will require overtime, early start or late finish.
• Respond to client’s facilities requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Well-organized with excellent multi-tasking abilities.
• Provide support team members as needed to complete other job functions, tickets, events, etc.
• Ensure Compliance with the client, and ABM Policy and Procedures and follow all safety protocols.
• Supporting with Events.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older. 
• Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific ATS environments (if applicable), including ten-year work history if available. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Customer Service Experience 
• 1 yr of similar work experience
