Senior DevOps Engineer

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. The DevOps engineer will cure and develop complex infrastructures independently, and significantly contribute to the preparation of the whole development culture landscape through designing, preparing and continuously evolving the deployment strategy and release management process across all environments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both on-premises infrastructure and cloud-based solutions, with a proven track record of implementing and managing complex DevOps environments. This role requires a proactive individual who can seamlessly blend development, operations, and quality assurance to enhance our software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure.
• Manage deployments and operations on Kubernetes clusters.
• Monitor the health and performance of the systems and applications, identify and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code and automation scripts to support the deployment and configuration of various systems, including experience with Helm charts and auto-scaling.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement by supporting and implementing emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks.
• Collaborate with the security team to ensure compliance and data security best practices are met.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support production system.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevOps role.
• Strong experience with modern CI/CD toolstacks such as Jenkins and  GitLab CI.
• Strong experience with event streaming system such as Apache Kafka.
• Good knowledge of containers and container orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with infrastructure as code and automation tools like Terraform, Ansible and with scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, and Bash.
• Experience with on-prem and cloud-based infrastructure, specifically using GCP.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
• Knowledge of network security and firewalls.
• Fluency in English both spoken and written.
