Who You AreYou are a motivated student or recent graduate with a strong passion for business analytics. Your expertise lies in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data to uncover key strategic opportunities as part of BHG’s commitment to continuous improvement across all aspects of the business. You thrive in a fast-paced environment where you excel at performing complex data analysis to support strategic business needs and transform raw data into valuable insights. You possess exceptional communication skills, enabling you to effectively summarize intricate findings for partners with diverse backgrounds and objectives.

What You'll Do

• Create reports and analyses, and present your findings and recommendations to various departments
• Dive into the entire data lifecycle, from querying and cleaning to transforming and joining disparate data sources
• Develop and optimize processes with automation based on data-driven analyses
• Recalibrate and/or assist in building new models to enhance decision-making processes
• Utilize your data visualization skills with tools like Tableau, Power BI, and more
• Gain cross-functional skills and visibility in all areas of our business through virtual training sessions, hands-on experience, mentorship, and access to subject matter experts

What You'll Need

• Students pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Analytical Finance, Data Analytics, Big Data, Data Science, Business Analytics, Math, Statistics, or a related field, graduating in the Spring 2024 – Spring 2025
• Availability between May 2024 – August 2024
• Full-time availability of 40 hours a week (Monday – Friday, 9-6 pm EST – NO Weekends)
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate high-level business requirements into specific analysis projects
• Have experience with Excel modeling, SQL, or forecasting
• Familiarity with Python, R, GirHub, and Graph Databases is a plus
• Bonus points for prior experience in strategic analytics, including KIP deep dives, causality breakdown, and impact forecasting
• The pay range for this position is $25 – 35 per hour; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
