This role will directly support the deployment of a standardized, resilient, and scalable wired network architecture based on a Layer 3 IP-Fabric with BGP EVPN control plane and VXLAN overlay segmentation, replacing legacy three-tier network designs with a modern spine-leaf architecture.

The Senior Network Engineer will provide technical leadership for core, distribution, and access layer modernization, secure enclave segmentation for NIPR, SIPR, and other mission enclaves, infrastructure hardening, qualification and acceptance testing, migration and cutover execution, and transition to operations. The ideal candidate has deep experience in enterprise and DoD network engineering, routing and switching, high availability design, network cybersecurity, and deployment of mission-critical infrastructure in complex operational environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the engineering, design refinement, implementation, qualification testing, and technical deployment of a modernized wired network infrastructure.
