U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Senior Data Engineer (multiple positions) in Irving, TX
Essential Responsibilities:
Develop workflows to migrate historical data from relational databases.
Convert Informatica and DataStage jobs to PySpark or Scala programs.
Provide on-call support and resolve production failures faced by various bank employees.
Create data fix programs to address data quality issues.
Participate in software design discussions to set priorities for product development.
Ensure all aspects of product development follow compliance and security best practices.
Basic Qualifications:
Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, followed by 5 years of progressively responsible experience as a Data Warehousing Specialist, or in a related occupation.
Required Skills/Experience:
Experience must include 3 years of experience with each of the following: (1) ETL Tools, including DataSage. (2) Developing large scale ETL jobs. (3) Agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles. (4) Data lakes and Data Warehousing concepts and designs. (5) Hive, Hadoop, Jupyter Notebook, PySpark, Python, Scala, SQL, and Sqoop.
Teams may work from home and the office. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $163,966 - $176,100 (#LI-NDI #LI-DNI #LI-DNP #DE-DNP).
