Sales Executive

What does a successful Sales Executive do?

You will be responsible for building a strategic relationship with senior leaders leading to the acquisition of new clients across Fiserv products and solutions. To be successful you must have a consistent track record of opening new accounts and driving complex solutions sales and revenue growth.  The Sales Executive will need to align prospects vision and requirements with our solutions portfolio to deliver differentiated customer value. As the strategic advisor to the client, you are required to have an in-depth understanding of the client’s business, goals, strategies as well as industry trends and directions.

What You Will Do:

  • Build strategic relationships with senior leaders to acquire new clients across Fiserv products and solutions.
  • Drive sales and demand generation to achieve sales quotas and line of business objectives.
  • Communicate Fiserv’s value proposition effectively at all levels, maintaining a regular cadence with clients.
  • Lead multiple opportunities in various stages of the selling cycle, from identification to close.
  • Accurately manage pipeline, forecasting, and commit processes to accelerate time to revenue.
  • Develop and execute territory plans, adjusting as needed to maximize business opportunities.
  • Create compelling business cases and client proposals to secure new business with maximum revenue/margin.
  • Proactively address and resolve client issues, enhancing client experience.
  • Collaborate across the organization to ensure client needs are met.
  • Build and execute Account Plans for key clients, focusing on cross-sales opportunities.
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms, leveraging appropriate deal review processes.

Corporate:

  • Drive commerce through enterprise solutions, enabling clients to increase revenue, reduce costs, and secure their ecosystem.
  • Deliver new logo and product solution sales within assigned verticals (e.g., Gaming, Retail, Restaurant, Grocery) and geography.
  • Collaborate with clients’ C-Suite executives and key internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment and impact on the client’s business.
  • Lead deals from prospecting through implementation, encompassing the full Fiserv ecosystem, including payments, core financial systems, and data/analytics.

What You Will Need To Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or a combination of work, education, and military experience.
  • 5 years of successful experience in sales and/or business development, with demonstrated performance against quota.

What Would Be Great To Have:

  • Ability to build and sustain senior-level relationships, gaining trusted advisor status.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in technology software or services sales to large accounts.
  • Success in a dynamic, matrix environment.
  • Understanding of solution selling.
  • Prior knowledge of Fiserv and former First Data product offerings.
  • MBA preferred.

Travel Required:

  • Ability to travel approximately 60%.

Salary Range

$85,600.00 - $182,200.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New York and California. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
