Maintenance Technician (ELK)

Summary:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures. All tasks will be executed in compliance with Hydro safety policies, as well as EPA, Hazmat, and OSHA regulations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Follows applicable Job Safety Analysis and Work Instructions
• Understands and follows all safety policies
• Able to work set schedule for full 12-hour shift
• Work in both hot and cold conditions
• Maintain proper Personnel Protective Equipment
• Attends training sessions as required

Job Requirements:

• Basic understanding of safety principles
• Ability to identify risks and hazards
• General knowledge of quality standards
• Strong housekeeping and organizational skills
• Proficient in basic computer applications
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately
• Fundamental mathematical skills

Education and Work Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 1-2 years of general maintenance experience is preferred
• Ability to work a full 12-hour shift on a set schedule
