In your role as a Sector Technology Solution Lead, you will work with EY’s broad technology consulting capability teams to support integrating technology innovation into our transformative solution delivery to drive significant value for our clients. This is a high-profile position that will work with Energy industry technology leaders and client serving teams across many EY practices.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

Client Delivery

As Energy companies explore opportunities to optimize their operational efficiency, you will help our clients understand areas to achieve operational excellence by examining their processes and tools including HSSE, accounting, reliability, commercial, logistics and engineering and examining operational KPI’s that drive costs and revenue. You will help our clients by crafting a strategy in line with their long-term goals or by implementing innovative and data driven digital solutions to drive speed to value. You will lead cross-competency teams within EY to bring the greatest value for our clients. You will craft and manage commercially viable engagements for EY.

 

Business Development

The purpose of this role is to help position EY for growth within the Oil and Gas sector in this rapidly changing market. You will help to integrated technology capability into our pursuits to differentiate our service offerings; help author thought leadership material; help develop our ‘Go to Market’ strategy, develop sales collateral and solution materials to position EY in the market. You will learn about the various competencies and capabilities within EY. You will play an active role in the sales to delivery lifecycle of engagements.

 

To qualify for the role you must have

· Bachelors and/or master’s in Engineering/ Business/Technology

· 10 – 15 years of experience as a consultant and / or a Leader in the IT field or comparable industry experience

· Deep understanding of technology management frameworks and operating models.

· Understanding of leading Governance and IT Service Management models (e.g., ITIL)

· Demonstrated ability to liaise between business, technology, and vendor teams.

· Minimum of 5-8 years of experience working within the –oil and gas sector, including:
