Job DetailsJob Location: Education Campus - Kansas City, MO 64038Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $17.00 - $21.00 HourlyWe are seeking Administrative Assistant Education to join our team. 

Hourly Range: $17.00 - $21.00

We This role will provide an array of administrative support for department staff in the Day Treatment School (TDS) program.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:


Provide clerical support to the Learning Academy Staff 
Submit facilities tickets upon request 
Assist in organizing student files 
Greet and check in visitors while maintaining confidentiality and ensuring they follow badge procedures 
Manage deliveries and mail, including receiving, sorting, and distributing items 
Answer phones, take messages, and direct calls to appropriate staff 
Assist in the intake and discharge process when requested 
Assist in ordering supplies as necessary 
Assist in scheduling and coordinating meetings as requested by the Administrative Manager 
Completes student attendance daily in Avatar and the Student Information System (SIS) 
Attends the Day Treatment School (TDS) revenue meeting each month 
Assist in maintaining the monthly census data for reporting purposes 
Scan and email documents as needed 
Read and respond to important time-based emails 
Administers medication to students in the absence of the school nurse 
Assist in sending grades and progress notes to districts and parents  
May drive up to 20 miles in one day to purchase needed items for the Learning Academy 
Assist BIST and Build Trybe with clerical tasks as needed  
Other duties as assigned 


WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

Our ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of relevant experience and the following:


High School Diploma, required.
At least 21 years of age and pass background check, physical, and drug screening.
A valid driver’s license in the state you reside in, proof of current vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
