Get in on the ground floor of building Ford Credit Bank—a de novo Utah industrial bank. As a BSA/AML Analyst, you will report to the BSA/AML Officer and serve as a critical member of our second line of defense, performing transaction monitoring, customer due diligence, and investigations to protect the bank and ensure regulatory compliance.

Ford Credit Bank (the “Bank”), a de novo Utah industrial bank headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah, will create innovative and simplified banking solutions to help customers across the country finance the purchase of new Ford vehicles, parts, accessories, and software and earn competitive rates on FDIC-insured savings accounts and certificates of deposit. The Bank will be a direct and wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Credit Company (“Ford Credit”), an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Company (“Ford”). We are seeking an accounting analyst who is analytical, quick learner who is passionate about their work to join our Bank team.

We are looking for customer-focused, driven professionals to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to help Ford launch and scale a new banking institution from the ground up.

What you'll do...

  • Prepare standard (recurring) and non-recurring journal entries
  • Ensure all journal entries are properly supported and documented, and that close metrics are completed accurately and on time
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of key balance sheet accounts, investigating and resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Support internal corporate audits, external audits, and statutory examinations
  • Assist in the preparation of financial and regulatory reports
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of accounting processes and procedures
  • Conduct accounting research to ensure proper accounting and disclosure of transactions
  • Support adherence to financial controls
  • Collaborate with team members throughout our global organization

You'll have...

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting or auditing
  • Understanding of U.S. GAAP
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis techniques
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of organization
  • Ability to generate ideas for impr
