Position Summary

Advanced is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our dynamic HR team. In this role, you will provide essential HR support, ensuring compliance, fostering employee engagement, and improving HR processes. Your contributions will directly enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our HR operations, supporting both employees and leadership in key HR functions.

 

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Assist with the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and new hire onboarding.

Employee Relations & HR Investigations

  • Provide backup support for employee relations, responding to employee inquiries, escalating concerns as needed, and ensuring adherence to company policies.
  • Lead and manage HR investigations, conducting thorough fact-finding and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal standards.

Compliance & Record-Keeping

  • Oversee and maintain compliance with I-9 & E-Verify requirements, managing associated dashboards within Paycom for accurate and timely documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, including the Affordable Care Act (ACA), by managing the ACA dashboard and reconciling benefits invoices.

Benefits Administration & Training

  • Assist in benefits administration, including open enrollment and reconciliation of benefits invoices.
  • Support employee training and development programs to enhance skills, leadership capabilities, and compliance with HR policies.

HR Projects & Process Improvement

  • Contribute to HR initiatives and projects that support company culture and business objectives.
  • Continuously improve HR processes and maintain best practices in HR management.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on recruitment, compliance, and benefits administration.
  • Certifications: SHRM-CP, PHR, or other HR certifications are a plus.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Technology: Proficiency in HRIS platforms (experience with Paycom is a plus).
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
