<p><strong>Job Purpose:<br></strong></p> <p>BTIG is seeking an experienced Associate to support the Investment Banking team in the M&amp;A and the Strategic Advisory group in New York. The candidate will be involved in all facets of BTIG's investment banking activities, including equity and debt, public and private market offerings, merger and acquisition advisory, and other investment banking advisory services. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the potential to take on a significant role in deal execution by providing day-to-day support to senior bankers and clients while also providing professional guidance to junior team members.</p> <p>BTIG offers a unique environment which combines a highly entrepreneurial platform focused on growth companies with the analytical rigor and transaction experience of a bulge bracket investment bank.</p> <p><strong>Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Coordination of transaction processes, including capital raise and advisory transactions</li> <li>Preparation of offering memoranda, proposals and other written materials for meetings with clients</li> <li>Lead the preparation of company valuations, financial models and industry-specific business development presentations</li> <li>Perform research and various analyses in support of new business generation</li> <li>Organize and participate in marketing and client meetings</li> <li>Leading and participating in drafting sessions for transactions</li> <li>Conducting industry and company-specific due diligence related to transactions</li> <li>Interact with corporate clients, private equity firms, venture capital firms and senior bankers</li> <li>Assisting in the development and continued cultivation of client relationships</li> <li>Identifying new business opportunities and developing tailored recommendations for clients</li> <li>Supervising and mentoring junior bankers</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements &amp; Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>At least 3 years of experience in investment banking</li> <li>Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively in presentations, as well as express complex financial strategies in an organized and articulate manner</li> <li>A strong work ethic, detail orientation and a passion for excellence</li> <li>Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to convey ideas</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously</li> <li>Highly organized, proactive, energetic and decisive, with high level of integrity</li> <li>Ability to comfortably interact with business clients and management</li> <li>Advanced Excel and Power
