Position Summary

Provides general office, document preparation and administrative support for an individual, department, office or designated staff group.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provides administrative support to multiple physicians within the department.
  • Maintains faculty calendars, scheduling meetings, and as needed, coordinating travel duties that may include conference registration, managing appointments and itineraries, travel arrangements, preparing trip materials and expense reports. Ā 
  • Maintains physician curriculum vitae and Missouri/Illinois licensure.
  • Assists with physician re-credentialing of hospital privileges every two years.
  • Prepares correspondence as needed.Ā  Assists physician in completing forms, scans and faxes documents, prepares copies as needed, maintains files (electronic and hard).
  • Responds to EPIC tasks as needed.
  • Answers phones, responds to inquiries from physicians, nursing staff, office staff, and other callers as needed.
  • Receives, sorts and distributes mail.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
