The Role  

The Fiber Build Forecasting Analyst owns unit-level forecasting for fiber construction programs, translating market plans, engineering inputs, construction activity, and financial targets into accurate build projections. This role partners with Network Planning, Engineering, and Construction to support capital planning, execution tracking, and leadership decision-making. 

Work Location Hybrid- Denver, CO 

  • The Develop and maintain fiber build unit forecasts for enabled units and related build metrics. 

  • Translate construction plans, engineering assumptions, vendor capacity, permitting timelines, and market priorities into forecast assumptions and scenarios. 

  • Analyze actuals versus forecast, identify variance drivers, risks, and opportunities, and recommend forecast updates. 

  • Build forecasting models, dashboards, and leadership reporting to improve visibility into build performance and forecast accuracy. 

  • Standardize forecasting methods, data definitions, assumptions, and reporting cadence across stakeholder teams. 

Main Responsibilities 

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field. 

  • 3+ years of experience in FP&A, operational forecasting, network planning, construction analytics, capital planning, or a related analytical role. 

  • Strong forecasting, modeling, and analytical skills, including advanced Excel; Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar tools preferred. 

  • Ability to synthesize operational and financial data into clear insights, recommendations, and executive-ready materials. 

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to partner across finance, engineering, construction, and operations teams.
