This is a Non-Employee Contingent Worker Role providing services for TIAA’s family of companies and will be employed by TIAA's preferred 3rd Party Supplier. As a Non-Employee CW, perform a variety of moderately complex business planning, support, and project-related duties. Demonstrates an exceptional standard of quality and holds themselves accountable to achieving excellent results.

This role will sit onsite, likely in a hybrid capacity, at the location(s) listed in this posting.

The anticipated term of this engagement will be 23 months. This term could be extended based on company business needs.

CW-Data Analyst
The Data Analyst identifies current market sector trends and customer patterns through statistical modeling and analytics. This job assists in examining and identifying data trends that help answer business questions and improve decision-making. Working under moderate supervision, this job collects data sources, analyzes data and extracts key information. This job helps monitor and evaluate data quality to meet the organization's information system needs and requirements.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Assists with mathematical, statistical, and economic methods that determine market conditions, project consumer needs and inform business initiatives.
• Identifies trends found from modelling and informs other lines of business such as product development and marketing decisions.
• Helps develop data mining models, statistical reporting and data analysis methodologies to identify key customer segments and to simulate impact of potential future business decisions.
• Works to develop detailed reports and conclusions for business, finance and investment management based on data summaries.
• Recognizes areas of opportunity and risk through data analysis and modelling and reports findings.
• Provides information for additional research and analysis in line with statistical methodology.
• Assists other areas of the business to model the potential outcomes of implementing various business strategies.

CW- Business Data Analyst

The Business Data Analyst supports data governance and asset management teams by maintaining and enhancing data visualizations, reporting tools, and supporting governance frameworks. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency and integrity of asset data across systems, enabling insights through dashboards and visual analytics, and contributing to the enterprise data governance initiatives. Working under moderate supervision, the analyst helps drive operational efficiency, data stewardship, and informed decision-making across the business.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Designs, updates and maintains dashboards and visual reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) to support asset-level insights and decision-making.
• Performs data validations, reconciliations, and quality checks to uphold data integrity across systems and platforms.
• Supports the implementation and maintenance of data governance frameworks and standards, including metadata management and business glossary development.
• Collaborates with business and technology stakeholders to define and document business terms, data definitions and quality rules for key asset data.
• Assists with ad hoc data analysis requests, including data extraction, transformation, and visualization to support operational and strategic initiatives.
• Provides data support for internal and external reporting, audits, and compliance activities.
• Participates in the development and upkeep of data catalog and governance documentation to promote transparency and data stewardship
