Director of Aftercare & Summer Programs

Currey Ingram Academy is seeking a creative, entrepreneurial, innovative, and organized Director of Aftercare & Summer Programs to lead and problem-solve with an immediate start. This is a position with an opportunity to shape and grow our JK-8 grade school aftercare program and summer offerings. This is an exciting opportunity to join a mission-driven school and develop programming that is safe, engaging, and fun.  This is a 12-month position that coordinates with Division Heads, teachers, and outside instructors.

• Ability to respond professionally to pressures, deadlines, and changing priorities in our environment
• Ability to work evenings; Hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday during the school year and varies for summer camp.
• Technology skills to run the registration and billing platform.
• Classroom and behavior management knowledge. 

Qualifications

• Minimum of Bachelor's degree required 
• Relevant field experience
• Experience hiring and training seasonal staff
• Seek out professional development opportunities 
• Required Suicide Prevention training, CPR and Child Abuse Report Trainings (provided by the school)
