Amazon Studios Sustainability Intern, Sustainability & Production Strategy Team

About the role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented intern to support the Sustainability team. This person will help drive innovation, sustainable production practice and scalability through a flagship project that will focus on evaluating raw sustainable production data. The goal will be to write a report based on key findings. This project should take about 8 weeks to complete, culminating in a presentation to our senior leader, Head of Production Strategy.
Key job responsibilities
This position will be heavily focused on qualitative and quantitative data analysis. Additional areas of focus and exposure will include: sustainability training, team and vendor interviews, participation and presenting in team meetings, on-boarding into Amazon Studio’s systems, site visits, project oversight, and other protocol/workflows which are key to producing content for Amazon Studios.

You will be immersed in the production world, with never a dull moment, learning how Amazon's leadership principles apply to sustainability and our unique culture at Amazon Studios. You will meet with key internal production stakeholders. At Amazon our customers come first and you will learn how we serve the production environment to make sustainability part of that process.
About the team
The Sustainability team sits within the Production Strategy Team.
• Candidates must be active students during the time of their internship. A student is characterized by: any candidate currently enrolled in an accredited degree program, including Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD, Associate, certificates, and diplomas.
• Interested in media and entertainment
• Passion for sustainable production practices
• Organized and able to evaluate and distill data in a concise manner
• Must be able to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent computer skills (MS Office)
• Experience with environmental sustainability metrics and best practices
• Experience within media or entertainment is preferred, but not required. Some examples of relevant experience would be working as a PA on a production, creating content, stage experience, public speaking, leading a project on campus.
• Data analytics skills background in visual apps to present information to a wide variety of stakeholders, including executives

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $16.83/hr in our lowest geographic market up to $40.43/hr in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
