Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center outpatient locations have a sliding fee schedule and are open to all regardless of ability to pay.

Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center's primary mission is to serve individuals with serious mental illness and chronic addiction and seriously emotionally disturbed children and their families. Where You Fit In and What to Expect

In the role of a Behavioral Health RN Coordinator, your responsibilities will encompass a  oversees the clinical services at 5 behavioral health outpatient locations in Indianapolis. This role will travel to each location to ensure there is clinical coverage and provide support for the medical staff at each location.

The Behavioral Health RN Coordinator oversees the clinical services at our outpatient locations in Indianapolis. They serve as a clinical expert and practitioner, utilizing their knowledge and skills to ensure high-quality patient care. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, critical thinking skills, and the ability to work independently to address the operational needs of the behavioral health areas.

Am I Qualified?

• Current Indiana license as a Registered Nurse
• Degree from a nationally accredited college or university
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in nursing
• One year of charge nurse/resource nurse experience
• BSN preferred, but not required
• Meet driving requirements within Eskenazi Health driving policy

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Performs all functions of Staff Nurse II, providing professional nursing care to patients. Functions independently as a practitioner, demonstrating superior problem-solving decision-making and critical thinking skills.
• Provides direct patient care as needed. Is a technical expert and resource or able to provide access to expert care as needed.
