We are hiring for a Quality and Patient Safety Analyst for UofL Health's Comprehensive Stroke Center.
Location: 530 South Jackson Street, Louisville, KY, 40202; Hybrid role
Shift: Salaried, 40 hours/week, Days
Job Summary
The Quality and Safety Analyst will assist in data collection and analysis for all aspects of the Quality Resource Department. This individual will collect, prepare and analyze all data and information for safety and operations improvement initiatives. The Analyst will maintain reports for all data collected and manage data bases to obtain information. This individual will maintain competency to extract and prepare reports from the ACS-NSQIP and Vizient Performance Excellence Suite. The Analyst will be expected to work on and assist improvement teams. The Analyst will be responsible for adhering to data collection deadlines as set forth from various regulatory, accreditation, and national agencies. The individual must pay attention to details and exhibit independence organizational skills to accomplish the work.

Qualifications
Required:- Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare related field
- Requires above average computer skills and preferred medical terminology knowledge.
Preferred:
- 1+ years of stroke data collection & analysis
- Certified Abbreviated Injury Scaling Specialist (CAISS), Certified Specialist in Trauma Registries (CSTR), or Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
