Quality Assurance Manager (Onsite)

Location: Belvidere, NJ

 

 

 As a QA Manager, Manufacturing is responsible for independently owning and driving Quality performance and compliance within their assigned manufacturing building. This position works closely with manufacturing personnel to support and coordinate joint efforts to achieve an efficient and effective implementation of the dsm local, regional and global Quality Management Systems.

Responsibilities:

 

• Batch record review and product release/rejection in accordance with applicable GMPs, local and regulatory requirements, and customer agreements
• Deviation, investigation (RCA) and Corrective/Preventive Action (CAPA) management
• Support raw material supplier qualifications and production trials
• Conduct Management of Change Risk Assessments (Quality)
• Perform annual Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) Evaluation (as applicable to production unit)
• Document authoring, review and approvals
• Manage quality issues between all involved players, such as Quality Control, product management, regulatory affairs, production and customers.

You bring:

 

• Bachelor’s degree required; life sciences or related field of study
• 3-6 years of Quality experience in a technical position in the life sciences manufacturing industry (working in a QA or QC environment)
• Basic knowledge of chemistry and/or engineering and/or biology
• Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices in any of: Feed, Food, Pharmaceutical Excipient, Dietary Supplement or ICH Q7 for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients and Cosmetic Ingredients industries
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, FAMI-QS, FSSC 22000 standards
• Computer proficiency including, but not limited to, Microsoft Suite programs.
