As a Security Officer - Retail Site - Part Time in Mililani, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure and welcoming environment at a bustling retail or mall location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff. You will be expected to communicate clearly and professionally, respond promptly to incidents, and support a positive experience for everyone on site. This position is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the premises using a company vehicle as needed. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns within the location.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits as required by site-specific policies.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents or concerns.
• Support emergency response efforts as directed by site procedures and Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements. 
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
