JOB SUMMARY
The Program Coordinator - SoLa I CAN embraces the mission of SoLa Impact and its affiliated non-profit, the
SoLa I CAN Foundation. The Program Coordinator must be creative and enjoy working within an entrepreneurial
environment that is mission-driven, results-driven and community oriented. The Program Coordinator will have
the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication,
administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.
The Program Coordinator will work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able
to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.

Requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
● Coordinate virtual and in-person events and complete follow-up action items under the guidance of the
Assistant Director.
● Provide regular communication by email or phone with program participants, parents, scholars
regarding documents needed and outreach for program participation.
● Manage administrative tasks needed to ensure youth and tenant programs runs smoothly, such as
scheduling events, brainstorming activities, and supervising volunteers.
● Serve as volunteer coordinator by managing databases, posting opportunities, connecting with
interested volunteers, and leading an orientation 1-2 times per month.
● Organize and update spreadsheets and databases using excel and google sheets.
● Assist with the SoLa Scholarship application process and Scholars awards ceremony.
● Lead youth mentorship program with Social Impact Manager.
● Collaborate with the Social Impact team on projects and events and proactively contribute where
needed.
● Support new program initiatives outside of existing programs.
● Provide general departmental support.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
● Bachelor’s Degree required
● Minimum 2 years’ experience in an administrative position at a non-profit, academic institution, or in
corporate environment
● Experience with social impact and/or public good program development or campaigns preferred.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
● Proven experience as a project manager or other relevant project management experience.
● Extremely tech savvy with working knowledge of zoom, google suite, and excel.
● Comfortable wearing multiple hats with a “No task is too small,” attitude.
● Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
● Ability to interact with a broad spectrum of constituencies, community leaders, nonprofit/education
representatives, board members, staff, youth, parents and volunteers.
● Ability to build and steward relationships with people from diverse backgrounds.
● Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
● Well-developed time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
● Ability to present information in a concise and easily understood manner.
● Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment.
● Organized, proactive/self-starter, creative, detail-oriented, and critical thinking skills required.
● Forward looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions
