In this position you will have the unique opportunity to be an integral part of the maintenance, operation and inner workings of the park and learn about the ballpark from the inside out. You will communicate and work with many other departments ensuring the park is in the best shape it can be to insure a great fan/guest experience.  You would be part of making that happen! This role reports to the Chief Journeyman Engineer in Engineering. This position will be located in our beautiful ballpark at 24 Willie Mays Plaza in San Francisco.  You’re excited about this opportunity because you will be responsible for…  ·         Preparing surfaces to be painted·         Applying paint, stain and other finishes to paint various surfaces using paintbrushes, rollers or sprayers·         Maintaining an inventory of supplies like paintbrushes, rollers, tarps, etc.·         Removing old finish using scrapers, wire brushes or chemical compounds·         Estimating time and material costs on some painting projects·         Cleaning machines, equipment and work areas·         Removing and reinstalling fixtures, artwork or branding and reinstalling as needed·         Following safeguards, rules and regulations·         Ensuring completion of projects in accordance with trade standards·         Reviewing and implementing work orders and assignments·         Documenting work performed for time sheet or work order  Qualifications·         Commercial painting experience·         Attention to detail·         Familiarity with painting tools and various types of materials·         Knowledge of job site safety·         Time management skills to ensure tasks are completed on schedule·         Collaboration and teamwork  The San Francisco Giants are not able to sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position. About the GiantsOne of the oldest teams in Major League Baseball, the San Francisco Giants are dedicated to enriching our community through innovation and excellence on and off the field.
