We are looking for a friendly and detail-oriented Barista to join our team at Can Can Brasserie. The Barista will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, including specialty coffees while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and a desire to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
• Take customer orders and process payments accurately
• Prepare and serve coffee drinks, such as espresso, lattes, and cappuccinos, following standardized recipes
• Customize beverages according to customer preferences
• Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment efficiently and safely
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sanitizing equipment and restocking supplies
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
• Provide recommendations to customers based on their preferences
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak times
• Assist with other restaurant duties as needed, such as bussing tables or assisting in food preparation

Work Schedule:

• 6:00 AM - 11:00 AM Monday - Saturday
• 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM Sunday

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service role is required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for coffee and a desire to learn more about specialty beverages
• Attention to detail and high standards for beverage quality
• Basic math skills for handling transactions
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light to moderate loads (up to 25 lbs)
