Job Description

As the Senior Database Developer you will be responsible for developing and maintaining database scripts, ETL, automation, and manual data loading process development and documentation for a B2B web application. Responsibilities include:

• Reviewing requirements and building new database tables, views, and stored procedures
• Creating new ETL using Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse Analytics
• Automating container creation using Azure Batch (in Python)
• Running periodic data loads, ad-hoc data updates, and queries
• Performance tuning existing Azure SQL database tables, indexes, and stored procedures

Qualifications

• Good Communication Skills
• Azure SQL Server development and maintenance
• Proficient Python skills
• Azure Data Factory/Azure Synapse Analytics development and maintenance
• SSIS package development and maintenance, Jupyter notebook and SQL notebook development
• Azure DevOps or JIRA experience is a plus
• Experience with Azure Analysis Services a plus (SSAS in the cloud)
• Experience with PowerQuery/PowerBI/PowerAutomate a plus
