We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation aircraft.

Mechanical Technical Instructor for Bell Training Academy

Bring your experience as a mechanic with a high degree of Bell knowledge from maintaining Bell’s aircraft (helicopters) for an operator or at a Bell Service Center.  

You’ll have experience maintaining but not limited to the following systems: hydraulics, fuel system, powertrain, rotating controls, powerplant systems, and avionics/electrical systems.

This role will be an integral part of the team, working closely with customers and fellow instructors.

This role is onsite in Fort Worth, Texas.

What you’ll be doing as a Mechanical Instructor:

·         Prepare classroom for each class and deliver the presentation of the course materials to the customers.

·         Maintain the Bell Training Academy shop areas in a clean and orderly appearance.

·         Develop and deliver specialized courses for customers, develop a rapport with the customer base to include US based and international customers.

·         Work with the Training Support Development team to update courseware or build courseware as needed.

·         Travel required to present aircraft courses both in the US and Internationally (15%).

Qualifications

 

Skills You Bring to This Role:

·         High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

·         At least 2 years of experience maintaining and troubleshooting on Bell products.

·         Must possess an FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate

·         Self-starter, outgoing people person, with great presentation skills.

·         Skilled at using MS Office software.

·         Ability to prioritize work, strong customer comes first attitude, and a positive team player.

·         Excellent communicator that must be able to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, and brief leaders/peers.

Physical Requirements:

·         Must be physically capable of working on and around aircraft.

·         Able to climb ladders, stairs, and work stands; kneel, squat, sit, crawl, bend, stoop, and crouch for extended periods.

·         Must be able to stand for prolonged durations.
