Radiologic Technologist – Aging & Dementia Imaging Res Lab

Under the direction of the Principal Investigators in the Aging and Dementia Imaging Research (ADIR) Laboratory, the Radiologic Technologist directs neuro MRI imaging components in research programs. This includes detailed organization of data, building, testing, and distribution of MRI sequences, visual parameter protocol checking to identify protocol deviations.
The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for organizing, managing, and maintenance of multiple multi-site center studies within the research program. Proficiency with Microsoft Office platforms strongly preferred.
The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for ensuring high standards of protocol compliance, quality of images, and data transfers from individual sites.
The Radiologic Technologist works closely with the program Principal Investigators, Lab Manager, Medical Imaging Analysts, and Programmers. They also work closely and develop a professional relation with external MRI Technologists, Study Coordinators, and Principal Investigators.
The Radiologic Technologist is proficient with the top three MRI vendors, MRI platforms, and software versions. Depending upon assignment, may perform work in neurocognitive disorders, Alzheimer's disease, and other areas.
Requires a graduate of an accredited radiography program.
Radiologic Technologist experience preferred.
Organized, efficient and multifunctional.
Ability to work independently.
Requires excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrates effective communication.
Ability to work varied hours, shift lengths and respond to an on-call pager which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays and weekends.
ARRT certified in Radiography or registry eligible with certification obtained before start date of employment.
CPR certified or obtained within 90 days of employment.
