2nd Shift Sensor 2 Shoku-Cho

SUMMARY                                      

This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing section.                                                            

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES                                       

• Managing, coaching and directing Off Line Han-chos.
• Directing the problem solving activities of the manufacturing area.               
• Analyzing processes for continuous improvement.
• Analyzing and continuously improving scrap and defective products produced.                              
• Analyzing and continuously improve overall plant efficiency.
• Improve overall product quality.
• Determine and prepare T/M daily work (Standardize work).
• Determine and prepare section training requirements and plan.
• Implement abnormal occurrence plan when necessary.
• Determine Kanban setting and Kanban Flow
• Supporting the efforts of other sections within the company to achieve goals and targets.
• Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.                              
• Will perform other reasonably related tasks within the Company as required by Management.
• Conduct morning, Jisu-ken, CFT, OA up, and training meetings as required                              
• Able to adjust schedule and hours for the belefit of the Company/Section.                              

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES                                          

This position will manage and direct Han-cho's and Hourly Team Members.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED                                           

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience desired.
• 5 years of prior applicable experience in manufacturing.
• 2 years management experience required.
• Electronics experience desired.
• Automotive experience desired.
• Valid passport for travel required for travel.
