Job Summary:

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) will work under the supervision of physicians to provide high-quality care to patients with allergies and asthma. The LVN will be responsible for patient assessment, administering allergy tests, providing patient education, and assisting with clinical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in patient intake and assessment, recording medical history and symptoms.
• Administer allergy skin tests and pulmonary function tests.
• Prepare and administer allergy immunotherapy injections.
• Educate patients on allergy management, treatment plans, and medication usage.
• Assist physicians with clinical procedures.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions to treatments and medications.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized clinic environment.
• Adhere to all clinic policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
• Performed other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Current and valid LVN license in the state of Texas.
• Previous experience in an allergy or asthma clinic is required
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
