Job Summary
The Collision Repair Technology Instructor is responsible for developing and teaching all phases of the Collision Repair Technology curriculum including conducting student evaluations, maintaining student performance records, assisting students with job placement, and developing relationships with business and industry.
Job Duties
Minimum Qualifications
• High school diploma/GED
• Five years’ current work experience in auto body repair
Preferred Qualifications
• Graduate of an accredited technical program
• Knowledge of Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) policies and procedures
• Skill in managing deadlines and working in a team-oriented environment
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Possess organizational and communication skills necessary to be an effective instructor
• Demonstrated effective communication and organization skills
• Ability to exercise good judgment in evaluating situations and making decisions
• Ability to maintain an effective working relationship with students, the public, and other employees
• Strong customer service skills
• Computer skills including general knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
