Description

New Pig Corporation is seeking an intern to work up to 40 hours per week during the Summer 2025. The student filling this internship will handle a wide range of important duties within the Accounting department.

Responsibilities: 

• Assist with sales tax compliance 
• Assist with internal audits of our records
• Assist with research, filing, data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records
• Support the payment processing team
• Handle sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity
• Learn how to work as part of the Accounting team to compile and analyze data, track information, and support the company
• Complete additional tasks or projects as needed and/or to learn more about accounting and office operations
• Adhere to New Pig's Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards

Qualifications:

• Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft office applications
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Demonstrated integrity values, principles and work ethic
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Attention to detail and compliance with established standards, policies and procedures
• Must be able to produce solutions with limited direction (after initial training period) and be able to problem solve and work independently
• Available for Summer 2025 with reliable transportation to/from our Tipton office location
