We are always moving forward – always pushing ourselves to go further in our efforts to build a more equitable, inclusive world for our employees, our customers and our communities.</span></p><p><br/><b><span>The Role</span></b></p><p>We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Platform Engineer to play a pivotal role in improving Developer Experience (DevEx) and enabling the fast, safe delivery of software at scale. </p><p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b> </p><ul><li><p> Design and define the architecture of the<b> Internal Developer Platform (IDP)</b>, selecting and integrating key tools and technologies such as <b>Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions, CI/CD tools, Developer Portals, and Platform Orchestrators. </b></p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Build and maintain the core components of a Platform, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance. </p></li></ul><ul><li><h2>Act as an internal champion for the Platform, promoting its adoption by development teams and providing comprehensive documentation and training. </h2></li></ul><p><br/><b><span>Who You Are</span></b></p><p><b>Required Skills and Experience</b> <br/> </p><ul><li><h2>Deep understanding of the<b> Platform Engineering philosophy </b>and its key concepts:<b> Internal Developer Platform (IDP), Developer Experience (DevEx), Golden Paths, Platform</b> as a Product, and cognitive load reduction. </h2></li></ul><ul><li><p>Experience with cloud-native architectures and container orchestration, ideally <b>Kubernetes</b>. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Proficiency with <b>Infrastructure as Code (IaC)</b> tools and practices (e.g., <b>Ansible,Terraform,</b> etc). </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Solid experience with implementing and managing<b> CI/CD </b>pipelines. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p><b>Fluent in English and Spanish. </b></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><b>Proven experience in web development </b>using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js). </p></li></ul><h2><br/> <br/><b>Preferred Skills and Experience</b> </h2><ul><li><h2>Experience defining and implementing standardized, automated "Golden Paths" or "Paved Roads" for common Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) flows, such as project creation, environment provisioning, deployments, and resource management. </h2></li></ul><ul><li><p>Specific experience with Developer Portals (e.g., Backstage, Port, Cortex, OpsLevel). </p></li><li><p>Familiarity with server-side development (PHP, Python and/or Go.)</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Experience with Platform Orchestrators </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Familiarity with the Team Topologies model and the platform team role. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Experience working in highly regulated environments or with strict security/compliance requirements. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Basic hands-on experience with public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP). </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Relevant certifications or current pursuit of certification. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Interest in observability, security practices, and advanced platform engineering methodologies. </p></li></ul><p><br/><b><span>Being You</span></b></p><p><span>Diversity is a whole lot more than what we look like or where we come from, it’s how we think and who we are.
