About the Role: 

LaunchX is seeking a Head of Community and Student Experience to design and deliver experiences that make our programs unforgettable. In this role, you’ll shape the student journey from the first interaction with LaunchX, through programs, and into alumni engagement. Your work will ensure LaunchX is not just a program, but a lifelong community for ambitious young innovators. 

This is a full-time, fully remote position that can be performed anywhere in the U.S.

You'll Make an Impact By:

• Designing and delivering exceptional experiences for students at every stage of their LaunchX journey, both online and in-person
• Leading onboarding, communications, and support systems that help students feel connected, informed, and supported
• Creating and implementing alumni engagement initiatives that build lasting relationships and strengthen the LaunchX network
• Managing and mentoring student support staff and program mentors to ensure a high-quality, consistent experience
• Gathering, analyzing, and acting on student feedback to continuously improve programs and community engagement
• Collaborating with program, marketing, and business development teams to align community efforts with LaunchX’s overall mission and goals

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience leading student experience, community engagement, or education programs (bonus if within entrepreneurship, youth achievement, or startup ecosystems)
• Proven ability to build and scale both virtual and in-person communities that drive engagement and belonging
• Strategic leadership with a hands-on mindset; able to both design the vision and execute the details.
• Empathy, creativity, and a passion for empowering young entrepreneurs
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and navigate ambiguity while maintaining professionalism and quality of work
• Proficiency in using CRM systems and social media platforms
• Successful completion of a background check

Compensation: 

The target compensation for this role is $70,000 USD per year
