About the role

This position works with the Providence Medical Group Safety Officer and Risk/Compliance Manager to meet the objectives of the Safety and Risk Programs. This may include investigation of quality-of-care issues, reviewing and revising policies and procedures, surveying clinics for environment of care, infection control and clinical risk processes, teaching principles of safety and risk plus performing other duties related to safety, compliance and risk management.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
  • Upon hire: Oregon Registered Nurse License 
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in safety and risk management.
  • 5 years Work experience in quality improvement.
  • Demonstrated experience in quality improvement tools and techniques, including rapid cycle improvement methods.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
