About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced security engineer to join our Security squad. Having experience with financial and payment services is a plus. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security architecture, with a focus on the financial industry. You will be responsible for designing, implementing and monitoring security solutions to protect our financial services and data from threats. You will be part of the Financial Services and work closely with the general security team and various business units to ensure the security of our systems and to meet regulatory requirements.
About your role as Security Engineer
Lead the design and implementation of security solutions to protect financial services and dataMonitor and analyze security threats and vulnerabilities, and take proactive measures to prevent and mitigate attacksConduct security assessments and penetration tests to identify and address security weaknessesStay up-to-date with the latest security technologies and best practices, and provide guidance and recommendations to the organizationDevelop and maintain security policies, standards, and proceduresWork with business units to identify and assess security risks, and implement controls to mitigate those risksCollaborate with the domain leaders to ensure that all security controls are aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirementsProvide subject matter expertise and guidance to the organization on security mattersMentor and train junior team members on security concepts and best practices
About your experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field5+ years of experience in security engineeringExperience working with public cloud providers: GCP, AWS or otherStrong understanding of security principles, technologies, and best practicesExperience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection, and prevention systems, vulnerability management, and encryptionExperience with security standards such as ISO, PCI DSS, HIPAA, and GDPRFamiliarity with financial industry regulations such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, SOX, BSA, GLBA and etc.Excellent communication and teamwork skillsCISSP, CISM, or other relevant security certifications are a plus
