Collins Aerospace is seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Service Supervisor to lead and coordinate a team of Field Service Technicians. This role involves overseeing technical support activities, including aircraft product rework, installation support, and supplier modification changes/upgrades. The Field Service Supervisor ensures adherence to procedures, maintenance of records, and effective communication with third-party Product Support Staff and the Field Support Manager to resolve technical problems and address design issues.

What You Will Do:

  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in alignment with the organization's policies and procedures, including managing on-wing maintenance, training, planning, reporting product performance, addressing customer complaints, and resolving issues.

  • Optimize the usage of manpower, standard time, equipment, and energy within the team.

  • Manage technical products, services, logistics, provisioning, quantity surveying, and configurations for assigned customers.

  • Manage statements of work to meet customer and contract requirements.

  • Conduct technical analysis of product implementations, modifications, and enhancements in line with specific customer specifications.

  • Perform preventive maintenance, modifications, and field changes to installed equipment as necessary.

  • Conduct startup, cut-over, and check-out activities on newly installed systems.

  • Prepare operations and malfunction reports along with associated documentation.

  • Assist engineering in solving equipment design problems, evaluating product performance, and conducting field trials.

  • Participate in customer meetings to review quality and product performance metrics, analyze data, and report trends as appropriate.

  • Collect customer feedback and establish and maintain good relationships with customers.

  • Respond to key customer complaints and conduct customer satisfaction investigations to ensure the establishment of appropriate improvement plans.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience.

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Prior field support or supervisory experience preferred.

  • Aviation or aerospace experience is preferred.

  • Assembly/Installation experience within the aerospace industry is preferred.
