As a Software Engineer Senior - Android within PNC's Retail Tech Online Experiences organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh PA, Dallas TX, Chicago IL, Birmingham AL or Strongsville OH.We are seeking a Software Engineer Senior (Android) to design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications that deliver exceptional user experience. In this role, you will contribute to multiple complex technical initiatives, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, and QA.
Requirements:
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin (Java experience a plus)
• Experience with Android SDK, Jetpack components (ViewModel, LiveData,
Room, Navigation), and Material Design
• Solid understanding of mobile architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVI,
or Clean Architecture
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party libraries
• Proficiency with Git and modern development workflows
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Job Description
- Provides detailed technical design and development of software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms.
- Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs.
- Writes code, tests and deploys software.
- Prepares technical and procedural documentation required for software.
- Maintains and debugs software.
