Senior Delphi Software Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an advanced Senior Delphi Software Engineer with at least 3 years of practical experience. 
The candidate must be able to work independently and learn the code base quickly. The ideal candidate will also have experience in code management and branching, integration, and deployment processes. Our applications use a wide range of technologies and libraries, and the ideal candidate should be able to move between them. The delivery tools for this position include Jira and GitHub. Experience implementing and operating continuous integration pipelines that include automated build and test will be an asset.  

Your daily tasks will include: 

• Develop and maintain the leading Enterprise PDM solution in the food and beverages industry 

• Follow the best practices and patterns in writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code that meets software development standards 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test software solutions 

• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality 

• Use Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality software within deadlines 

• Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical solutions

Qualifications

What you will bring: 

• Advanced Delphi programming expertise (active usage of BO/FA - business objects/factories, GC - generic classes, TLists, DevExpress components) 

• Advanced knowledge in SQL-database (ability to modify/optimize SP - Stored Procedures and functions)

• Practical experience using Git/GitHub and working with pull requests (usage of TortoiseGit is a plus) 

• Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code 

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail 

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English, Slovak is a plus 

• Self-motivated and ability to work independently as well as in a team 

What will be an asset: 

• Experience developing in an Agile/Scrum based environment 

• Experience programming in C# 

• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as Microsoft Azure 

• Orientation towards achieving long-term goals and continuous development
