SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for assisting with the Company’s day-to-day accounting and reporting functions including the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close process.

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for assisting with the Company’s day-to-day accounting and reporting functions including the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close process to support the preparation of monthly management reports and the Company’s required 10-Q and 10-K SEC filings.
- Prepare and/or review monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts.
- Prepare, record, analyze and report accounting transactions and ensure the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal policies.
- Coordinate and collaborate with peers within the Company as well as Accounting, to ensure processes are created and performed efficiently and accurately.
- Interface with external auditors with respect to the Company’s financial statements.
- Assist with certain accounting and internal control functions as needed.
- Other accounting and special projects as requested.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years in public accounting (Big 4 or equivalent) or 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Strong US GAAP knowledge
- Strong critical thinking, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to effectively interact with senior management
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- CPA in good standing preferred.
- Experience in the energy, infrastructure, or related industry.
